Not satisfied with already having the world’s fastest roller coaster, the world’s first zero-carbon, zero-waste, car-free city, and the furthest leaning man-made building, mega projects in the pipeline include the Zayed National Museum, Velodrome Abu Dhabi and teamLab Phenomena.
No project is too big, no world record unattainable – which also applies to residential developments.
For those wanting to live their best lives, there are a number of bougie developments in the pipeline. And when we say bougie, we mean it: think the fanciest, most luxurious homes you can imagine, designed by top architects and kitted out with the latest technology and comforts.
Of course, all this comes at a premium, and we don’t think that we’ll be able to afford them any time soon.
But it doesn’t hurt to dream, so if you’re aspiring to live in a Barbie Dreamhouse, or just love looking at homes way, way, way out of your budget on Property Finder, here are all the bougie developments in Abu Dhabi you need to know about.

AlJurf Gardens
This upcoming residential project is being build in Ghantoot by Abu Dhabi-based real-estate developer IMKAN. Jubail Island
Fancy yourself the captain of your own ship, the king or queen of your own island? Then Jubail Island is the bougie development for you. You’ll no doubt have already explored Jubail Mangrove Park and discovered the gorgeous natural scenery here, and homeowners will be able to enjoy it daily in one of six low-density communities, all elegantly designed and finished to make the most of the natural surrounds. Louvre Abu Dhabi Residences
The Jean Nouvel-designed Louvre Abu Dhabi is so gorgeous that we could look at it all day and never get bored. And homeowners at Louvre Abu Dhabi Residences will soon be able to do just that. The first residential project to ever be developed in collaboration with the Louvre and Louvre Abu Dhabi brands, Louvre Abu Dhabi Residences by Aldar is set to be the jewel in the residential property crown of Saadiyat Island.
