Radisson Residences on Al Reem Island Achieves 24-Hour Sell-Out

Abu Dhabi’s residential market recorded another major milestone as Phase 1 of Radisson Residences Al Reem Island achieved a complete sell out within 24 hours of its official launch.
The project forms part of a wider AED1.2bn investment in branded residential development, highlighting sustained demand for premium, hospitality-driven living across the capital.
The development is being delivered by Royal Development Holding, a subsidiary of Emirates Stallions Group, and represents a global first as the world’s first standalone Radisson Residences.
Located along the waterfront of Al Reem Island, the project combines contemporary architecture, refined interiors, and a lifestyle model shaped by hotel-style services. Phase 1 included studios, one-to-three-bedroom apartments, as well as three and four-bedroom townhouses, all of which were absorbed by investors and end users in a record timeframe.
Tariq Nazzal, CEO of Royal Development Holding, stated that the rapid sell out reflects both the strength of the partnership with Radisson Hotel Group and the company’s long-term focus on building a strong position within the premium branded residences segment. He added that the performance of Phase 1 demonstrates the effectiveness of this strategy in meeting current market demand.
From the hospitality partner’s perspective, Elie Milky, Chief Development Officer for the Middle East, Northeast Africa, Greece and Cyprus at Radisson Hotel Group, highlighted that the collaboration was particularly significant due to Royal Development Holding’s ability to anticipate buyer expectations and deliver a product aligned with elevated residential living. He noted that the success of the project marks a new stage in Radisson’s expansion into refined, design-led residential offerings.
Set against Abu Dhabi’s mangrove-lined coastline, the development is positioned as a landmark address, offering scenic views and hospitality-enhanced amenities shaped by Royal Development Holding’s community-focused approach.
Following the full sell out of Phase 1, the developer has confirmed that preparations for the launch of Phase 2 are already in progress.
