May Newsletter. No more news on the 3% tenancy tax I’m afraid. Rents continue to be stable except on Reem Island and the Corniche where inventories are growing. Other relevant industry articles can be found on our blog.
Physical Brochure – We have converted our updated “Complete Guide to Renting in Abu Dhabi” into a physical brochure, and Etihad have taken delivery of two boxes. If you would like any for your new or current staff please let me know and I will have them delivered. The electronic version can be found in our library.
Tenant’s Legal Rights – I get an email a day asking about various legal questions. Tenants are still unaware of their rights. I attach our guide to tenant’s rights, please feel free to circulate it to your staff.
New Office – This expansion is in part due to the fact that we are opening a second office on Reem Island in the Boutique Mall in June. This should give us a unique position to serve your staff looking for apartments on Reem Island. We expect to get a huge amount of availability from the new office and so be able to offer our clients even more choice.
New Hires – We have recently hired two new Arab and French speaking agents from Asteco. This takes our leasing team to 15. Our team speaks 13 languages.
