Abu Dhabi Launches First Official Rental Index: How to Check Current Rates in Your Area

On Tuesday, Abu Dhabi unveiled its first official rental index, developed by the Abu Dhabi Real Estate Centre (ADREC), the regulator of the capital’s real estate sector.

This platform, designed for tenants and landlords, aims to enhance market transparency, provide indicative rental values, and support the stability of Abu Dhabi’s growing real estate market. It offers quarterly rental price estimates for properties across various city areas, providing residents with reliable data on residential, commercial, and industrial properties.

The rental index is accessible through a user-friendly platform on the Abu Dhabi Real Estate website. Users can select any area in the city to view property prices. To obtain detailed information, users must first choose their municipality—Dhafra, Abu Dhabi City, or Al Ain City. They can then select a specific zone and sector.

Once a particular area is selected, the index opens up a treasure trove of transparent pricing information for different types of properties, from apartments to villas. It also offers details on the number of bedrooms available and the corresponding prices for each property type, making it a one-stop shop for all your rental needs.

Additionally, the portal features an interactive map that allows users to view and compare different localities.

According to Abu Dhabi’s media office, the rental index is part of ADREC’s ongoing efforts to improve customer satisfaction in the real estate market and deliver value to all stakeholders, including investors, property owners, and tenants.
